Painting

This work raises questions about what it means to be a realistic painting in the contemporary age by applying traditional painting techniques to pixelated images. Using brushes, I recreate the appearance of computer screens in their paintings.

I collect various images from Google and layer them to create a new narrative, telling the story of young painters who were about to graduate from university at that time.
