While creating the exhibition design for CIVA festival 2023 I thought of the ways „we“ can „take care“ of audience within the walls of a cultural institution. The design reflects on the simplest way of achieving one’s privacy in a public space. The information printed on cloth creates symbolic shelters for the viewers to rest in, named after the artists.
I thought of the restricting rules within the art space and wanted to reimagine how art can be consumed. Therefore, the artworks are placed below eye level. The space is filled with multiple sitting positions to make visitors sit, lay down
or conversate where ever they are in it. I wanted the exhibition to look like one but still provide tools for privacy and comfort.

Titled ‚Embodied Structures‘, the second edition of Vienna’s media art festival is devoted to the body and its multiple and ever-changing identities.
The exhibition design drove its inspiration from the place of birth of the digital bodies — 3D software. To relocate, distort, scale or animate, a digital body it is necessary to select it within the viewport/ file hierarchy. An action should be taken to change the meaning that a body carries and represents.
