Drip-Drop is a experimental display font. The original idea came about during mindless scribbling. Even though it has this very organic origin with very smooth and round shapes, it soon developed into a font that is actually built on a more or less rigid grid and monolinear contrast within the connecting strokes. While most characters remain legible some characters really challenge their form and break out of existing convention

Cherished Memories

For the exhibition Immersion – A Deep Dive into Virtual Reality I created a handcrafted 3D world that can be experienced in VR. In Cherished Memories you relive moments from the past of ones memories. Singular Moments in time and the world itself is fractured. Your surroundings feel surreal and are distorted – like your own memories. Over the course of time memories fade and get more and more distorted the further back in the past they are. That is what psychologists call Recall Bias. In the game your memories become an unreliable narrator. Objects shatter, experiences get fractured and proportions get out of hand.
Visually, the world is defined by alienated rock formations, surreal flying objects and the warmth of a late summer sun. The world is interactive. That means objects that lie around can be picked up, looked at closely and can be thrown away. If you have a Virtual Reality device at hand you can give it a go and download the experience right away.

Fictional project for a gin manufacturer. The goal was to play with the perception of the label by not having a label in its traditional sense. Where one would expect a label there is a window through which the observer can see the actual label on the back of the bottle.

Lockdown Happiness is a project which I created during the third covid lockdown in Austria. The idea was to create a ambiguous firm that manufactures different products to feel good during this time.

Even though the firm is clearly sceptical about the measures that the government implemented, it stays ambiguous, even mysterious. To achieve that effect the design looks very clinical and institutional.
